Ok so massive update – everything now runs on sOOtieBucks, yes – coin has gone!
Your existing sOOtieBucks and Coin have been merged at the exchange rate we’ve been using since this started (10000 Bucks > 100 Coin).
So let’s say you had 55k old sOOtieBucks and 180 sOOtieCoin. You’ll now have 730 new sOOtieBucks (550 from the conversion plus the 180 sOOtieCoin you had).
Nothing has changed in terms of being awarded more currency from financial support and the values for all Chat Control / CHAOS commands remain the same.
In addition to the supporting of the content financially, you can now amass Bucks (all be it in reduced amounts) from the following activities:
- Being active in chat
- Checkins
- Lotto
- Predictions
- Winning a game of Draw
- Chat Gambling Games (!gamble !dice)
- Various Discord Games (FPL, Prem Predictor and the Casino)
- Converting sOOtiePoints (Channel Points)
All Sounds/PopUps have had their prices reduced accordingly.
I’m pretty sure things will be a bit rough for the first few streams (no surprise there I’m sure!) and I’ll be monitoring the effect this has on the economy, but getting back to a single currency and allowing people that cannot afford to support the stream financially a way of joining in the fun all be it at a slower pace, feels like the right play.
Will see how it goes for a few streams and then make any changes needed.
